The Hon'ble CAT Hyderabad in OA No. 779/2013 and OA No. 780/2013 filed by erstwhile RTPs has delivered orders directing the department to regularize and count the service rendered as RTP by the applicants from the date of their initial appointment with all consequential benefits and also for the purpose of granting of up gradations.
This judgement will benefit thousands of PAs/SAs who worked as RTPs.
In Kerala Circle during 1996 the Hon'ble CAT Ernakulam has pronounced a judgement granting all service benefits. But the Postal Directorate has instructed the Circle Office Trivandrum to limit the implementation of that judgement to the FOUR applicants in that O.A. These FOUR still enjoying all service benefits including Seniority, Pay, Leave, all promotional placements viz. TBOP, BCR, MACP etc. These are denied to identically (Not merely similarly ) placed 1000s of others as a question mark while number of Supreme Court judgements are there to extend the benefits of a court order without forcing them to approach the courts of law. Why this point is not succeeding is a miracle now. A legal opinion to tackle this is to be obtained as to the best of my knowledge these judgements can be got implemented for the benefit of all identically situated other EX-RTP PAs through contempt of Court petition. .................
