The Inspectors Posts were granted regular promotion to the cadre of Assistant Superintendent Posts in the month of December, 2011. It is learnt that some of the Inspectors Posts declined regular promotion to the cadre of Assistant Superintendent Posts and the resultant vacancies are lying unfilled.

As there is a panel of Inspectors Posts identified by the DPC for promotion to the cadre of Assistant Superintendent Posts, it is requested kindly to grant promotion to the next eligible Inspectors Posts as ASPs in the place of IPs who have declined promotion which benefits our members at large who are awaiting promotion and continuing in adhoc promotions.
 Yours faithfully,
