1.
IP/ASP merger. The OGS has clarified on the
subject in detail and details are still awaited from the Chq.
2.
Court case pertaining to grant of PG. Rs. 5400- grade
to ASPs who worked for four years in the PG Rs. 4800- The OA No. 296/2014 has
been posted to four weeks from April-2015.
The same will be pursued after court vacations.

Majority of IPs/ASPs have opined that if the IP-ASP merger proposal is implemented junior ASPs and Senior
IPs who due for promotion will lose
gazetted status. Requested to clarify the issue. Most of the IPs/ASPs are in favour of
retaining the gazetted cadre. The OGs has clarified that after consulting all
the Circles, the proposal was submitted to Dte.
tharough the GS and now there is no chance to modify the proposal.

IP/ASPs from Kurnool Region raised issue
relating drafting of ASP(Hqrs) post from Tirupati division to PTC Mysore since Tirupati
Station is world known piligrim place where VIPs/VVIPs visit very frequently and IP/ASP staff of the
division are asked to escort them. It
was decided by the CWC to take up the same with Circle Office for restoration
of the post. (This was taken up with the
CPMG)

Creation of new group “B” posts according to
work load by taking all the new items of work (Multi farious nature of work). (This was taken up with the GS)
6.
It was mentioned that IP/ASP cadre are
supervising the GDS cadre staff that are not well educated and not aware of
rulings position un-like other sector like central excise, income tax etc.
Department need to pay special attention towards IP/ASPs . (This was taken up with the GS)
7.
Cadre restructuring was not done since long.
This needs to be taken up with the General Secretary. (This was taken up with the GS)
8.
Delay in conducting of DPCs. DPCs are to be conducted twice in a
year. This is to be taken up with Circle
Office. All the ASP(Hqrs) are requested to arrange submission of latest
CRs(APARs) 1993(OC), 1996 (SC/ST). (This
was taken up with the GS)
9.
DPC for promotion to ASP: This is under process
to form members and chairman and expected to complete within a fortnight. (This was taken up with the CPMG)
10.
It was pinioned that IPs/ASPs may be permitted
to charge the cell phone bills and claim
the same from divisional head in anticipation. At present divisional heads are
sanctioning cell phone charges. (This item was taken with the Circle Office)
11.
Two divisions in Visakhapatnam Region i.e
Srikakulam and Parvathipuram have not permitted the IP/ASPs to purchase brief
cases. Similarly two divisions in Hyderabad Region have not permitted to
purchase brief case. This item is being taken up with the PMG Visakhapatnam/Hyderabad
during the ensuing bi-monthly meeting.
12.
Most of IPs/ASPs are holding more than one
sub-division months together which affects
the quality of work and some reports are delayed badly. The Circle Office will be requested to post
all the vacant IP/ASP posts early. (This
was taken up with the CPMG)
13.
Inspection days to be increased. Inspection days
for inspection of BOs/SOs/HOs were fixed some 55 years ago. All the members opined that the inspection
days are to be increased by taking all the work load added including social
security pensions, GREGS, SSY. The GS
will be asked to take up the same with the directorate. (This was taken up with the GS)
14.
Conducting of work shop to sub divisional heads
in connection with loss and fraud cases since IPs/ASPs are being identified for
contributory negligence. The association will conduct with the senior ASPs
worked in CO/ROs. (Circle secretary will arrange with the help of Sr. ASPs
working in CO/RO)
15.
Most of the members stated that road mileage is
not uniform. Some divisional heads are
giving as per the justified work where as some are giving minimum. This will be taken with the CO for granting
uniform road mileage to all the sub divisional heads. (This was taken up with the CPMG)
16.
Training in CBS. Most of the sub divisional
heads are not aware of the CBS work related job. Circle Office may be asked to
import training to all the SDHs on this so that they can supervise the staff
working in the CBS environment. (This
was taken up with the CPMG)
