Sad news- Gopinath Munde is no more.

NEW DELHI: Senior BJP leader and union rural development minister Gopinath Munde was killed in a road accident near Moti Bagh area in New Delhi on Tuesday.

Transport Minister Nitin Gadkari said that the accident took place at 6.30 am on Tuesday morning and Munde was declared dead at AIIMS.

"There was no breathing, no pulse, no cardiac function when Mr Munde was brought to the hospital. Despite efforts, he could not be revived and was declared dead at 7.20 am," said AIIMS spokesperson Dr Amit Gupta.

Munde’s body will be taken to 11 Ashoka Road for BJP workers to pay their last respects and then to Beed for last rites tomorrow
